Tim Ernster received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University with a double major in Political Science and Sociology. He received his Masters degree from Arizona State University in Public Administration.
Tim served for 39 years in local government management in Arizona, working in six different Arizona communities: Scottsdale; Tempe; Glendale; Lake Havasu City; Bullhead City; and, Sedona. He served as city manager in three of those communities.
Tim was a member of the adjunct faculty at Arizona State University from 1993 until 2020, facilitating courses in applied public management.
He is a past president of the Sedona Rotary Club, and a current member of the Prescott Noon Lions Club, the Prescott Interfaith Climate Action Team, and Raising Voices For Justice, a faith-based social justice group in Prescott. He is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Prescott. He and his wife, Vicky have lived in the Prescott/Prescott Valley area since March, 2018. Tim has been a member of CWAG since 2018.
