Natural History Institute Gallery Exhibit -- Green Guardians: Artists Standing Strong for the Verde River.
Embark on a journey with the Natural History Institute to protect the upper Verde River. The Green Guardians exhibition showcases a diverse array of artworks, each a visual manifesto in support of the federal designation of the upper Verde River as a Wild and Scenic River. Through paintings, sculptures, and other installations, artists lend their voices to the chorus, calling for responsible conservation measures. Green Guardians is more than an art exhibition; it is a collective call to action, urging us to appreciate, protect, and advocate for the upper Verde River’s designation as a Wild and Scenic River. Among the 15 local artists whose works are on display are CWAG members Gary Beverly and Tom Brodersen. Gallery exhibit hours are Tuesday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. LOCATION: The Natural History Institute, 126 N. Marina St., Prescott.
