3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Dewey-Humboldt Community Open Forum - Iron King Mine Humboldt Smelter Superfund site. An open forum for all Town of Dewey-Humboldt residents to ask questions and receive answers on any matter of concern related to the Iron King Mine Humboldt Smelter Superfund site. Answers will be provided by the Town's retained environmental legal counsel, Jim Hamula. Open House. Come for as long or as little as you like during the time window. Come and go as your schedule allows or watch the forum online. Among the topics of interest are:
- Boundaries to EPA’s Superfund site
- Current EPA Superfund soil investigation and planned waste repositories
- Future EPA Superfund groundwater investigationand possible remediation
