8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (8:20am if meeting in Jerome) Prescott National Forest Hands-On Watershed Restoration Volunteer Day. Volunteers are needed to assist with gully stabilization work, including the implementation of loose rock structures and juniper structures to improve the landscape and watershed.
Work: Gully stabilization and watershed improvement
Requirements: High clearance vehicle for site access (carpooling available)
What to Bring: Long sleeves, long pants, eye protection, sturdy work boots, sun protection, snacks, lunch, and plenty of water
Provided: Leather gloves, tools, and some UTV/trailer assistance
Note: Remember to bring your own lunch!
