10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. WRRC Santa Cruz County Special Session Logistics - Water Study Session. Speakers: Dr. Sharon B. Megdal, Director, Water Resources Research Center; Joaquin Marruffo, Environmental Justice Coordinator, Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ); Claudia Gil Anaya, Environmental Science Specialist, ADEQ; and Kennedy Shepard, Statewide Planning Supervisor, Arizona Department of Water Resources. This special water session will feature multiple presentations that include an overview of the Santa Cruz County Water Factsheet, updates on the Transboundary Aquifer Assessment Program (TAAP), an overview of the Governor’s Water Policy Council, a presentation on transboundary water issues in the Ambos Nogales region, and updates related to the upcoming Supply & Demand Report for the Santa Cruz AMA.
